Lido Beach Winter Fine Art Festival
The Lido Beach Winter Fine Art Festival will be held February 17th and 18th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Discover how original, handmade art can enrich your life. The outdoor gallery showcases works by artists from all over the United States. Browse the paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry, and more to find that piece of art that will inspire you each day.
See acts by some of the best local performers at SaraSolo Festival. This three-day weekend event offers a unique theatre experience that celebrates the solo artist, showcasing an eclectic mix of 45-90 minute solo performances by 19 national and international artists. The performances span from music, dance, cabaret, comedy, performance art, magic, stand-up, and storytelling, as well as historical, biographical, and poetic plays.
On February 10th, J Dub’s Brewing is celebrating their 4th anniversary with Dub Fest, a craft beer fest and music fest all in one! Live music from two stages will keep you rocking steady, including headliner, Less Than Jake, a ska punk band from Gainesville. Grab delicious eats and refreshing drinks from the food trucks and beer tents on-site. Enjoy unlimited samples of the professional brews and homebrews and vote for the best during the “Pros vs. Joes” Beer Festival. Dub Fest benefits the Sarasota Humane Society who will be on-site with a variety of furry friends available for adoption!
Sarasota Masters Art Festival
See the finest art from over 70 of the nation’s top artists February 3rd and 4th at the 9th Annual Sarasota Masters Art Festival. Browse the one-of-a-kind works in categories including oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, sculpture, ceramics, fine jewelry, and blown glass. The festival also offers live entertainment and food vendors.
Thunder By The Bay Sarasota Motorcycle Festival
Want to see some great-looking motorcycles up close? Sarasota has a biker’s outdoor festival that’s just for you! Enjoy food, fun, and live music as the Thunder By The Bay Sarasota Motorcycle Festival revs up for another year February 15th to the 18th! You’ll see bikes, bikes, and more bikes…plus parties, barbecues, and a poker run!
Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts
See some of the best artists in the nation and their amazing works of art February 10th and 11th at the 30th Annual Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts. Life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, and photography are just a few of the types of art you’ll see. The festival is ranked as one of the Top 100 Fine Arts Shows in the country by a national artists magazine.
Batter up! Celebrate the start of Spring Training with The Orioles at Sarasota Springfest, a free, family-friendly event on February 18th. Watch the Orioles players practice on the back fields and participate in interactive games including corn hole, giant Jenga, and two-speed pitching machines. Get a free photo taken at the photo booth in front of a custom Ed Smith Stadium background and enjoy music, contests, and games in the East Parking Lot. A variety of food trucks will be on location.
Southwest Florida Heritage Festival
Celebrate the agricultural history of Southwest Florida and the pioneers that settled the area during this year’s Southwest Florida Heritage Festival February 24th and 25th. Focused on history and education, the festival will offer a number of homesteading skills, workshops, and demonstrations including pioneer cooking, beekeeping, goat milking, archery, historic building tours, gardening, and nature walks.
