Central Sarasota Farmers Market
The Central Sarasota Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., October through June, at 4454 Beneva Rd. The market features both locally and regionally produced vegetables, fruits, meats, baked goods, and prepared foods for sale. Local artists, artisans, providers, non-profit organizations, and live entertainment also make appearances and a number of educational presentations cover interests from domestic agriculture to health to cooking.
Phillippi Estates Farmhouse Market
Looking for a midweek Sarasota farmers market to check out? The Phillippi Estates Farmhouse Market is held every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, October through April in the lovely Phillippi Estate Park. Over 50 vendors sell fresh produce and plants as well as prepared foods, specialty and sustainable items, and Florida agricultural-related products. There’s always live entertainment, and pets on a leash are welcome!
Fruitville Grove is a farm fresh family market that is open every day, year-round. Located at 7410 Fruitville Road, the market offers a wide variety of produce, including non-certified organic citrus and vegetables including cucumbers, bell peppers, and okra. You can also find fresh Amish-made goods including cheese, snacks, and jams. Fruitville Grove hosts two popular festivals each year, The Pumpkin Festival and The Berry Festival, during which you can enjoy fun activities, delicious food, live music, rides, and contests.
Yoder’s Produce Market
Yoder’s Produce Market, located at 3434 Bahia Vista Street, is open Monday through Saturday. The produce market is stocked with fresh Amish dairy and cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and unique pantry items to up your cooking game. Detwiler’s Farm Market
